April...the cruelest month of all

Post by Fitz on Wed Apr 28, 2010 12:38 pm

The surrender to the North Vietnamese by the 94th Congress of the United States of America was completed on April 30 1975, the Fall of Saigon.

The darkest day in the history of this country, I left work weeping.

The bastards!

And the "liberal" folks in 94th Congress all kept saying that there would absolutely be no blood bath to follow, that there was no reason for the U.S. to be in Viet Nam to protect folks.

Tell that to the 2-3 million who bought the farm later in Viet Nam, Cambodia and Laos, and to the tens of thousands in South Viet Nam, Republic of, who ended up in "re-education" camps (if they survived).

So, where' the "we were wrong" from the media on all this?

Nevah happen GI...
